Aircraft, Vehicular and Electrical Equipment and Supplies

For more than 30 years, Federal and Department of Defense customers have relied on the AbilityOne Program for aircraft, vehicular and electrical parts and supplies to maintain equipment around the world. From complex hydraulic/mechanical assemblies to simple spare parts, AbilityOne has the experience and responsiveness to keep our nation supplied, equipped and protected.

Through our national network of nonprofit agencies, AbilityOne meets Federal product sourcing requirements while creating employment opportunities for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. Orders for supplies and spare parts are managed through a contract management support team to assure timely delivery of high quality products. The AbilityOne Network has extensive third party logistics capabilities, and offers a warehousing and distribution solution.

The vehicular, aircraft and general industrial components we supply include:

The AbilityOne Network utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and inspection systems, including ISO 9001 certified and/or equivalent quality systems. Our quality control and best practices ensure the highest quality products for our Federal customers while providing exciting manufacturing career opportunities for people with significant disabilities.

Custom Manufacturing, Development & Fulfillment

The AbilityOne Network has diverse prototyping and fabrication capabilities to meet our customer’s custom requirements. Whether long - or short-term production runs, in large or limited quantities, our national network of nonprofit agencies have diverse manufacturing and fabrication capabilities, including:

Manufacturing – Machining of complex parts according to customer drawings and military specifications. Our skilled manufacturers are capable of working with a wide range of materials including:

  • Sheet metal
  • Plate and bar stock
  • Castings and forging
  • Aluminum extrusions
  • Gaskets and seals (metallic and non-metallic)

Finishing – Metal finishing, such as painting, anodizing, penetrant inspection, shot peening and polishing

Assembly – From minor installation of bushings and bearings, to complex hydraulic and mechanical sub-assemblies.
